ABOUT MELANIE

Melanie is an experienced, Registered Yoga Teacher, with specialized certificates in Trauma-informed Yoga, Yoga for Mental Health, Mindfulness, and Meditation. 

Melanie has been a student of yoga for over twenty years, and a yoga guide for over eight years. Her experience in yoga has been life changing - opening a path to transition from serving in the U.S. Army to becoming a trauma therapist as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, initially through her study of Trauma-informed yoga. 

 Melanie's articulate and relatable presence creates a space to bring traditional yoga and mindfulness practices into our daily lives - in accessible and relevant ways. Her training and teaching upholds yoga principles,  mindful awareness, and honoring each and every body.
